col-wideJob Description:DescriptionWho we areOur Mission is to inspire authentic and meaningful connections.Selina was born out of a desire to celebrate the nomadic lifestyle: to experience our planet's most beautiful places, to build community, to engage with locals and fellow travellers, to work and enjoy new adventures.What you will be doingLocates and corrects in-room heating, ventilation, and air conditioning malfunctions General knowledge of procedures for repairing and/or replacing all types of plumbing equipment.Makes systematic checks on all room electrical appliances, circuits; being able to repair most in-room defaults.Handles all in-house repairs with regard to removing and replacing bathroom tile, painting, repairing wallboard, wall vinyl, carpentry, etc.Utilizes basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance.Completes preventative maintenance checklist and other maintenance records according to the Operation Manager requestMaintains tools, workspaces, equipment, property exterior and grounds to assure cleanliness.Familiar with all major shut off stations, including water and electric with fire alarm stations.Maintains security for guests and property by ensuring that room doors are locked at all times,keys are controlled, lost and found articles are properly logged and securely stored, reports suspicious activity by guest or others and observes all security and safety regulations.Hold a regular weekly meeting with Operation ManagerShow up to work 10 minutes before the shiftShow up to work in perfect hygienic and neatness conditionsExtend professionalism and courtesy to employees at all times.Extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times.What you need for the roleNecessary Skills and AttributesExcellent problem-solving skillsAdaptabilityGuest relation skillsPhysical RequirementsThis job requires to sit, stand, walk, use hands, objects, tools, controls, lift bags or boxes, talk, hear, vision abilities and up to 15 pounds heavy lifting sometimes.What can you expectCompetitive salaryPerformance bonusNo dress codePet-friendly (as long as your pet is friendly)Multiple online training opportunitiesCultural events and wellness activities at Locations.
