You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on cutting-edge technologies that enable the energy transition.
Your role as IoT Engineer is pivotal to deliver optimized and effective control for multiple technologies and assets, such as wind farms, Electrolysers, EV charging stations, and district heating systems.
Your work will focus on the development of the IoT based control strategy that brings the powerful potential of AI to the execution level in the field.

How You'll Make an Impact
Development of IoT based control solutions for a research project in a German municipality
Develop a methodology for the economic and efficient networking and deployment control of decentralized resources across all sectors
Engineering with IoT based devices connected with advanced systems such as AI-based forecasting and Digital Twins
Contribute to the further development of our hybrid control solutions.
What You Bring
Understanding of Microgrid projects and applications
Proven experience in CODESYS and/or Structured Text programming environments > 2 years or similar
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, IEC, or Profinet is highly beneficial
Experience developing and testing control logic for power plants or industrial applications or thermal process
Understanding of IoT technology
Fluent in English. German understanding is a plus
