We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our marketing performance by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the health of our marketing funnel. You will work closely with our Data Science and Engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, improve existing dashboards, and provide actionable insights to guide marketing decisions. In This Role, You Will:
Monitor, analyze, and report on the health of the marketing funnel
Improve existing marketing dashboards and build new ones as business needs arise
Perform Ad-hoc analyses to support the marketing organization
Work closely with the Data Science and Engineering team to identify and quickly resolve data issues that impact data accuracy
Support marketing tracking and tagging using various martech tools
To Thrive In This Role You Will Need to:
Identify and debug data quality issues
Know the common tools in a marketing technology stack (Web Platform, Email Marketing, Marketing Channels, Analytics Platforms, Data Pipelines, BI)
Have a working knowledge of marketing channels and their unique aspects (Facebook Ads, Google, Tiktok Ads)
Have an in-depth knowledge of web analytics and funnel data metrics
Understand how to work with event-based data
Have experience working with data in Paid Media, Paid Social, and Organic marketing channels
Have in-depth knowledge of marketing tools used to build campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Tiktok Ads, Klaviyo, Webflow, Google Analytics)
You have extensive experience working with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL
Have a good understanding of tabular data
Understand how web pages and tagging work ideally with experience using Google Tag Manager or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Have experience as a media buyer or working with paid media data
Passion for getting into the weeds in large data sets to glean actionable insights
Experience working for a startup in a cross-functional remote environment
Exceptional communication skills
Familiarity with Python or other programming language
