Responsibilities:
As a Cosmos Engineer, you will be part of Lightshift's Core Engineering team. You will directly help co-build some of the most promising and impactful projects in the web3 industry, alongside the best founders and core team.
Contribute directly to the code base and overall building effort of different projects invested by Lightshift.
Analyze projects and their feasibility, focusing on the engineering component.
Research bleeding-edge trends, protocols and advancements in the space.
Work in tandem with Lightshift's investment team to identify and capture the best opportunities.
What we're looking for:
Fluency in the Cosmos ecosystem.
Understanding of Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) and Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains.
Solid understanding of Rust (Cosmwasm) and Go.
Knowledge or experience with one of more public blockchains.
Solid understanding of security best practices, known attack vectors, and pitfalls of blockchain protocols and applications.
A strong desire to keep learning and push the boundaries of the blockchain space.
Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
Extra:
Experience with cosmos infrastructure deployment and management
History of meaningful contributions to open-source projects.
Practical experience in blockchain security and research.
