YOUR TASKS
Contribute to a team of reliability engineers analyzing high impact performance and reliability drivers to improve overall fleet and business outcomes through focused processes for loss/defect elimination, risk management, and life cycle asset management.
Improve asset reliability by collaborating with SMEs and site personnel on anomalies within those trends that could adversely affect the reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance of equipment.
Perform and communicate analysis of fleet performance and main component reliability, including life data analysis, reliability growth, degradation, and recurring event analysis.
Facilitate in root cause analysis, reporting and monitoring activities on prioritized reliability topics.
Support failure analysis and issue resolution throughout the product life cycle.
Develop models for wind farm operational data to detect changes in the operating behavior of plant equipment and systems.
Perform recurring evaluations of mission-critical component health and status through actively collecting data using analytics software and tools.
Update and optimize the content and capabilities of related reporting and analysis tools.
YOUR PROFILE
Excellent computer skills, including: MS Office, Minitab, ReliaSoft suite, R, Python or other statistical analysis and data mining programs.
B.S or higher in an engineering field preferred.
Related certification in the field of Reliability Engineering desirable.
Experience in root cause analysis and 8D methodology.
Willing to travel for team briefing, conference, or training, as needed.
Ability to conduct product reliability and failure prediction analysis.
Ability to apply and facilitate the pursuit of root cause analysis and associated tools.
