So are we!The Work You'll Do:The EMEA Regulatory Analysis team for VAT, based in Portugal, Sweden, and Turkey, offers interesting and challenging legal research work in a multinational environment within a cutting-edge information security and fiscal compliance space. With a team of seven regulatory counsels/specialists, currently with roots in Albania, Brazil, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Turkey and Venezuela, we enjoy cooperation and exchange with our fellow Regulatory Analysis teams in other regions. Together we provide the regulatory intelligence that powers our suite of products.Our work includes global regulatory research within multiple jurisdictions, primarily relating to electronic invoicing and electronic tax reporting, which entails both tax and information security aspects. We monitor legislative and regulatory developments in our supported jurisdictions, and analyze the effects that any such changes could potentially have to our products and services. The Regulatory Analysis team works closely with Product Management to ensure that our products meet relevant legal requirements, and co-design future software solutions.As part of the Regulatory Analysis team, you will provide the legal research and detailed analysis of changing legislation that powers our compliance solutions.More specifically you will:Proactively and continually monitor legislative and regulatory developments concerning electronic document regulations, including e-invoices and tax reports, in different countries. These requirements are mainly related to indirect tax, accounting, and commercial legislation.Help determine the impact of regulatory changes on Sovos' solutions and provide detailed, timely and accurate information regarding those changes to relevant colleagues, in order to implement such changes in Sovos' solutions.Explain legal requirements in clear language for internal and external audiences e.G
