As a Specialist in Regulation and Studies, you will be at the forefront of the energy transition, monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments and actively engaging with regulators and other decision-makers to change the energy landscape. This pivotal role requires an ability to understand regulatory frameworks and assess/anticipate the operational and business impact of potential regulatory changes. You will collaborate with various organizational units to define the company's stance on high-impact regulatory issues, support and actively participate in interactions with regulators and oversee the internal implementation of necessary changes. Key responsibilities: Monitoring legislative and regulatory trends: Stay ahead of the curve by tracking and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments that shape the sector, with a particular focus on Distribution System Operators (DSOs) at both the EU and Portugal levels. Assessing the impact of legislative and regulatory changes: Evaluate how legislative and regulatory changes affect our business and operations, ensuring we are always prepared and proactive. Coordinating the definition of the company's positioning: Work closely with various organizational units to craft and communicate our stance and proposals on legislative and regulatory reviews. Coordinating the development and implementation of legislative and regulatory changes: Oversee the implementation of legislative and regulatory changes within our processes and systems, leading implementation projects in close articulation with the different organizational units. Providing expert advice: Be the go-to expert, offering guidance and support to internal teams on different regulatory and legislative matters. Liaising with stakeholders: Help build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to represent our company's interests effectively. Employment type: Full-Time Work site: Hybrid Model What are we looking for: Master's degree in electrical engineering (preferred), another branch of engineering, or Economics (MBA is a plus); Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (preferably, specific experience in the energy sector or in regulatory affairs or a similar role); Experience incoordinating cross-functional teams and managing projects is valued.
