Located in the heart of Lisbon, Webasto Portugal is a Business Service Center (WBS), part of the Webasto Group.Because the "We" in Webasto is your special plus, you will find an innovative and multicultural environment with equal opportunities.Responsibilities:Lead one of the 2 R2R teams within WBS Accounting (circa 10 accountants);Ensure daily and period-end closing R2R activities are adequately and timely performed and act as a point of contact for critical escalations;Establish and monitor key metrics to assess team performance including high level of stakeholder satisfaction;Partner with Corporate Accounting and GPO on design of R2R policies and processes and drives its implementation within scope of responsibility;Ensure compliance with group accounting and reporting policies and internal control system;Provide technical and accounting guidance and assistance to team members as required;Support internal and external audits;Identify process standardization and improvement potentials and support implementation process.Requirements:Accountant with 5+ years experience, in multinational environment;Deep and broad understanding of IFRS;Experienced with R2R policies and processes (Manual Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Review, BS Account reconciliation, Month End closing process, etc.);Proven experience in leading an accounting team;Continuous improvement mindset and with hands on mentality to problem-solving;Former experience in SSC operations is desirable;Advanced SAP FI knowledge;Advanced knowledge of MS office tools;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Excellent English skills in speaking and writing.What we offer:Competitive salary package;Health insurance;Career path to suit your ambition;Access to the Webasto Academy to develop your skills;Work-life balance with flexible hours and a hybrid working format;Five extra days off;Wellbeing program, which includes breakfast and fresh fruit available daily and Friday's special bell.At Webasto, you will be part of our sustainability strategy, which incorporates ecological, social, and economic dimensions.
