Main tasks:
In your day-to-day role, you will be expected to complete the appropriate tasks for your ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
Record all relevant transactions into the General Ledger and reconcile your assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
Deliver transactional processing and accounting, including other manual bookings and cost accounting.
Perform month-end activities, including account reconciliation preparation and balance sheet maintenance (accruals, provisions, prepayments, fixed assets, among others).
Prepare statutory reporting, including accrual history sheets and fixed asset history sheets.
Support the business by proposing and implementing improvements to our control environments, including internal compliance and JSOX requirements.
In this role, you will be reporting to the RTR Team Lead.
Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant.
Minimum of 2 years in a complex accounting role.
Solid working experience in IFRS/HGB.
Experience with SAP.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
Solid self-management, innovative, and constantly looking for opportunities to improve.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, etc.).
