Reports to: Client Success Manager
The Real Estate Business Development (RE BD) Associate primary responsibility is developing new real estate investment opportunities, developing our existing markets and broadening Nomad Capitalist's network. The RE BD is part of the Business team and reports directly to the Chief Success Manager
Necessary Skills: Hard Skills
Bachelors degree in relevant field3+ years proven experience in Business Development2 years experience in Real Estate primarily in sourcing and executing transactions with high net worth individuals C1+ proven written and spoken English Soft Skills
Must possess good communication skills on all fronts and must be someone that gets along well with other people, i.e., must have good interpersonal skills.Great communication and presentation skillsEagerness and determinationExcellent time management skills, knowledge of western cultural etiquette, and professional dress.Should be able to work as part of a team on a regular basis.Must have good analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities.Positive, "can-do" and "no excuses" mentalityUnderstanding of high net worth individuals/clients and the client service expectation that comes with thisNegotiation skills to construct and finalize deals between vendors and clients Extra Skills/Not Essential
Existing network and relationships with Global Real Estate vendors/contacts Role Responsibilities (Team Led): Adding to our professional network by researching, contacting and vetting new external vendors that would benefit our business. Including but not limited to Real Estate agents, developers, lawyers, renovation companies and banks.Create a system with clear criteria for recognizing strong performing property investments with good returns.Work with research and strategy teams to advise clients on additional benefits such as tax and immigration perksBuild a property investment library that will allow us to offer specific and relevant opportunities to our clients.Negotiate and close deals with vendors on behalf of clients to guarantee the best price.Present property tours and area guides on our Youtube channel and be a speaker at our annual conference.Travel to target countries to collect property and area details, meet vendors and collect first hand information for our clients.Answer client emails and communications quickly and professionally to maintain high customer service standards.Build strong rapport with clients and seek opportunities to upsellCold call real estate agents and developers in targeted countries to set up partnerships and build property stock libraries.Create a diversified property library including residential (primary and secondary), commercial, retail, industrial and agricultural. Host webinars with internal colleagues and external vendors, advertising services to clients and prospects Role Responsibilities (Client Led): Execute Real Estate deliverables advised as part of bespoke client plans to high net worth individuals, including sourcing real estate for varying purposes, sales, rentals, purchasingAnalyze our client's situation and offer custom ideas, strategies and recommend the best course of action.Collect documentation for clients and assist with each step of the purchasing process.Organize property tours for our clients and ensure multiple options. Post continuous and regular updates on project management tools of all actions for each client's case.Create 'To Do' tasks on for each client and assign deadlines, with continuous updates for easy referral for Senior Executive ManagementWork with Marketing on creating visual advertisements and property brochures for our clientsWork with the Client Success Manager to determine target markets and areas of priority for our current clients.
