About the job The Credit Analyst Trainee's main mission is to work on a pool basis closely and under the supervision of the relevant Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers.
Your Main Activities Are Analyse the credit worthiness of a portfolio of clients, by performing the review of the counterparty financial analysis as well as assessment and monitoring of counterparty and credit risk.Perform on a regular basis industry overviews and peer analysis.Prepare written Credit Proposals such as Annual Reviews, New Requests and Amendment and Waivers, entailing the above points in order to support credit committee decisions regarding the client's risk of default, credit rating and adequacy of the proposed financing.Report and manage data ensuring database quality.Work with cohesion and team spirit within the Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) Team and with the other members of the Transportation Finance Team as well as with internal and external stakeholders on a local and international scale.Profile and Skills to Success Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Economics or Accounting.Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel.Business oriented mindset with an ability to convey a balanced sense of risk.Great attentiveness to detail with efficient organizational and planning skills.Great team spirit with a proactive attitude.About the Team The Transportation Finance Team is currently made up of 45 people including a Coverage Relationship & Origination Team, a Transaction & Execution Team and a Credit Portfolio Management Team spread across 6 countries serving the sector client in EMEA. These teams are split across two majors, Aviation on one side and Shipping & Offshore on the other side although greater transversality is being fostered.
The CPM Team is also cross functionally part of a broader CPM Team with Export, Leasing & Alternative Structuring and Commercial Real Estate. This transversality aims to provide a common training path, opportunities to explore other sectors, more efficiency and greater mobility.
