Job Summary: The Raw Materials Procurement Specialist oversees the procurement of raw material essential for production. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless supply chain, from forecasting demand to managing contracts, while adhering to quality standards and budgetary constraints.
Key Tasks & Activities: Forecasting: Receives raw material requirements from plants, analyzes and validates prior to sending to suppliers.Managing Purchase Process: Initiates and processes purchase orders for raw materials;Verifies POs for accuracy, including quantity, pricing, and delivery terms;Coordinates the receipt of raw material deliveries;Addresses any discrepancies or issues with received items;Validates supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts for raw materials;Reports and Declarations: Ensures accurate and timely submission of Intrastat monthly reports;Contracts Management: Monitors monthly pricing to ensure the application of contractual terms and conditions;Monitors contract performance and coordinates with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or delays;Tracks and manages contractual commitments regarding raw material quantities and delivery schedules;Prepares Request for Quotations (RFQs).Who we are looking for: 5-7 years of experience required in Procurement, Purchasing or Logistics;Bachelor's degree (a plus if in Procurement, Purchasing, or Logistics).Technical Skills: MS Office with Advanced ExcelSAP knowledgeInterpersonal Skills: Problem SolvingCommunication with the plantsCommunication with SuppliersProactiveFast learnerLogoplaste is an equal opportunities employer, where the foundation of our culture and our drive is based on Diversity & Inclusion.
