Raw Material Senior Controller (M/F)

Claire Joster is currently recruiting for a company of automotive sector, which intends to strengthen its internal structure with the integration of a Raw Material Senior Controller (m/f) in Porto.Reporting to the Regional Senior Manager, the professional will be responsible for:Advising procurement teams on implementing new material indexing agreements with suppliers, including selecting appropriate indices, determining update frequencies, and setting allocation rules;Validating the application of existing contracts individually to ensure their impact in SAP;Monitoring and tracking the financial effects of implementing commodity price contracts, including retrospective impacts and accrual management;Developing and maintaining tools for managing purchasing performance;Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of monthly spending reports on purchasing;Providing support to buyers with commercial aspects and market intelligence;Contributing to the streamlining and simplification of scope management processes and commodity price reconciliation;Preparing for procurement performance review meetings.ProfileHigher Education in financial management or/and controlling;Advanced proficiency in Excel, with significant experience in VBA. Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, and SQL;Proactive and curious about the economic context of materials, including pricing, market risks, and delivery schedules;Strong cross-functional coordination abilities;Independent and self-motivated,organized with a strong emphasis on precision and methodical approaches;Proficient in English, with at least a B2 level.
