Responsibilities: Review and be accountable for the development activities of Tower components as per phase gate concept and product development process (PDP).
Provide input to the team on unclear or missing requirements and evaluate the documents to support a flawless launch at the supplier location.
Adapt the defined product development process and phase gate concept while working on component development.
Follow the maturity risk assessment evaluation process/procedure and follow the quality swim lane of PDP along with the internal interface (Design Excellence and Quality team).
Follow the Quality Escalation Process/procedure as per escalation level program.
Ensure mBOM completeness when material is delivered from the supplier to the site.
Manage the Non-Conformity (NC) process, focusing on top priority NCs with a deep dive approach to identify robust root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
Moderate 8D's for top critical issues.
Work with (internal/external) cross-functional teams on 8D/CAPA/RCA/why-why analysis with a deep dive approach to drive the team to conclusions regarding root causes and corrective actions.
Strive to bring standardization into problem-solving methodology (8D) and qualify all required internal and external interfaces with a cross-functional collaborative approach.
Proactively highlight challenges in one-on-one meetings with leaders or in general group meetings of OpEx & Q.
Prepare summaries of individual tasks and results to present regularly (weekly or fortnightly) to leaders.
Lead from the front for all challenges in their purview and strive to solve them, adapting a proactive approach to NC Management of Tower.
Qualifications: Bachelor or master degree in engineering or similar.
8-10 years of experience in Tower component development and problem-solving methodologies.
Expert on tower knowledge, able to guide a cross-functional team.
Fluent in English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of methodologies such as 8D/CAPA, RCA, Ishikawa, why-why, and 5Why.
Able to understand the Advance Product Quality plan (APQP) and development phase gate milestones.
Availability to travel.
