We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Managerto lead and optimize our quality assurance and control processes, ensuring full compliance with the regulatory authorities.
The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in quality management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, with specific expertise in the cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities: Assist production directors in implementation of protocols and procedures.Collection and delivery of samplesEnsure employee awareness and training processes in the area of Quality ManagementEnsure ERP Sage X3 applicable modules are contemporaneously filled with all relevant information.Contribute to the fulfilment of Quality Assurance objectivesMonitor internal and external auditsComply with all applicable legislationComply with the requirements of GACP standardsComply with the Code of Ethics and ConductDevelopment of Quality Performance Reviews (QPRs).Development and Implementation of CAPAS.Development and implementation of continuous improvement programmesPerform audits to Quality Management Systems.Collaborate in the elaboration of procedures related to the cultivation and processing of cannabis inflorescences activitiesProvide guidance on technical matters to the various employees involved in the cultivation and processing of medical cannabis at Gro-VidaManage Supplier and Costumer Qualifications.Manage and provide input on the annual audit planChange control managementImplementation and maintenance of the Quality Management SystemParticipate in analysing Deviations / OOS / ComplaintsFill/monitor the filling technical sheets in ERP and manage documentation of quality batch-controlled productsProduction of reports to provide the authorities with accurate dataCreation and review of Technical and Quality Agreements (TQAs).Review and approval of all batch documentation generated during batch productionMake important decisions regarding Gro-Vida's suppliers, subcontractors and clients Qualifications: Fluent in English and PortugueseHigher education in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with active membership in the Order of Pharmacists; specialist title in Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred.Proven experience in a Quality Manager or similar role within the cannabis industry or a related field.Extensive knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, Infarmed regulations, and industry best practices.Strong leadership abilities with effective team management skills.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
