Job Description As Quality Engineer R&D – CoP you will become part of our Quality Management team with focus on Product Review related tasks in Research & Development.
You will strengthen a team that is located in different markets around the world and is responsible to ensure the quality of our products as well as the continuous improvement of processes.
CoP – Conformity of Product – is a key process in the overall process landscape of Research & Development and is constantly challenged to adapt to new requirements from regulatory, OEM and company internal sides.
In your new role you will interact with multiple interfaces throughout the worldwide Continental Tires organization, such as Global Tire Testing (GTT), Standards and Regulation (S&R), Manufacturing, Platform Development and Industrialization and many more.
Key responsabilities : Translation of CoP requirements (regulatory, OE related, internal) into automatized verification rules; Continuous review and update of rules; Facilitation of weekly CoP meeting and QM spokesperson in CoP meeting; Establish and/or enhance a holistic reporting process for all product groups; Self-sufficient regular trend analysis and derivation of required corrective actions based on overarching criteria in alignment with Head of Product Review - QM R&D; Ensure the quality of the data analysis and maintain it over its lifecycle (debugging, updating), document the results and coordinate with the Data Science team for support concerning BI Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.
); Continuous improvement of QM R&D - Product Review related quality processes; Ensure application of aligned processes and tools throughout all QM R&D - Product Review related quality processes; Documentation and maintenance of work instructions, procedures, etc., in QMS system; Lead and/or support projects and task forces related to QM R&D - Product Review; Conduct internal trainings concerning QM R&D - Product Review processes; Support SPS - Structured Problem-Solving activities.
Qualifications University degree in an Analytical, Engineering or Business Management field; Logical thinking and efficient decision making; Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team; English language on proficient business level; Certified auditor acc.
IATF 16949, ISO9001, or similar (preferred); Knowledge in BI Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.
), is preferred; First professional experience in a R&D environment within a global organization (is a plus); Intercultural sensitivity.
