Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
As a key member of the Quality Team, your main tasks will consist of:
Work within a cross functional team and have direct involvement with all related functions, both within the Home Comfort organisation and with third party suppliers as the Global Quality Owner for Electronics;
Actively promote the quality policy in all areas of involvement;
Perform independent preventive quality assurance activities during different stages of the development process;
Conduct content-based checks and mentor the engineering team on process adherence, as well as influence and explain the purpose behind process definitions;
Ensure quality documentation of Quality Gate Reviews and interface with stakeholders, enable transparency, highlight, and adequately document results;
Carry out Initial Sample Inspection Reports ISIR (only plant-to-plant) and conduct Field Observations (evaluation of field complaints);
Active participation as an 8D team member in case of customer complaints and associated resolution is one of your tasks;
Regular preparation of quantitative reports and clear communication in reviews as well as identify, manage conflicts, and ensure timely escalation of issues through independent judgement is your responsibility.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline (preferably electronics, hardware, software);
Experience: More than 5 years of experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment of electronics;
Know-how:
Effective problem-solving techniques;
Working with an eye for detail in conducting methods and tools like FMEA, Quality Gates, 8D;
SAP knowledge (preferred);
Languages:
Full professional proficiency in English;
German preferable;
Working Style and Methods:
Assertive, resilient, and self-motivated;
Hands-on mentality;
Takes initiative, responsibility, and ownership of tasks;
Personality:
Great communication skills;
Team-worker and dynamic person.
