Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, the Quality Engineer will focus on promoting Anova's quality culture through targeted improvements impacting the quality & reliability of both products and processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer specifications and industry standards while also optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of quality principles, methodologies, and tools with a proven track record of results in a manufacturing environment. Flexible hybrid work schedule!
What you'll do: Collaborate with product development teams to define quality requirements and specifications for new products using advanced product quality planning tools.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.Develop and implement quality control procedures for both product manufacturing and process optimization.Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure that incoming materials meet quality standards.Provide training and support on quality procedures and best practices.Collaborate with engineering and product management on obtaining and maintaining desired product and process certifications.What you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Proven experience in quality engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control).Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).Proficiency in data analysis and statistical quality management.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with root cause analysis and permanent corrective action techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D).Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or higher).Why Anova?
