Key Accountabilities
Quality representative in the production shop floor
Proceed in accordance with the audit requirements of the control plans
Proceed with first and last part approval according to the control plans
Perform daily defects review of FTQ and inform Quality Engineer and Engineering for new failure modes or abnormal quantity of failures
Perform daily review of scrap and inform Quality Engineer and Engineering for new failure modes or abnormal quantity of failures
Evaluate and decide the doubts that arise in the production process, in line with engineering requirements
Identify and inform Quality Engineer about any non-conforming or suspicious products or raw materials, in order to prevent their improper shipment
Engage supplier quality to proceed with the incoming inspection, when defects are found on raw materials in accordance with internal procedures
Maintenance of the containment area (on-hold)
Issue or assure control charts are properly filled out according to the respective capability studies
Assess the suitability of measurement systems (MSA) in accordance with the procedures
Keep the Quality criteria updated
Carry out checks (audits) to the process, compile and issue the verification results
Support engineering during equipment validation carrying out of capability studies and MSA
Support the carrying out of studies related to quality issues
Execution of Containment Plans
Correctly apply the handling and storage of chemical substances
Apply and correctly enforce the collection and storage of waste
Carry out the 5S of the area under quality activities responsibility
Comply with environmental, safety, health and energy, quality, and productivity standards
Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service
Education & Experience
Secondary education in a related technical area
Good computer skills
Minitab user (is a plus)
Knowledge in solving industrial problems - 8D Methodology and 5 Whys (is a plus)
Interpersonal Communication
Fluent in English
Fluent in Portuguese
