The Role As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Inductiva, your role will be multifaceted, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. In Test Planning & Design, you'll be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on detailed product requirements. Your collaborative nature will be essential as you work closely with product owners, designers, and developers to ensure that every aspect of the product is covered by these tests. During Test Execution, you will execute both manual and automated tests across various platforms, including desktop operating systems (Linux, MacOS, and Windows), as well as web and mobile, to guarantee the overall quality of the product. A key aspect of this role involves performing regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities. Additionally, you'll conduct performance, stress, and load testing to confirm that the systems can handle the expected load and user traffic efficiently. In Defect Management, you will identify, document, and track defects. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be critical as you work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure that the product is continually improving. You'll also provide detailed feedback and suggest improvements based on your testing results. With a focus on Automation & Continuous Improvement, you'll design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, enhancing testing efficiency and reliability. You'll be proactive in continuously improving the testing process by integrating new tools, techniques, and best practices. In Reporting & Documentation, you'll generate and maintain detailed documentation of test results, metrics, and defect tracking to ensure transparency and accountability. Regular updates on testing progress and quality status will be communicated to stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned. You'll also participate in post-release and iteration reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our products and processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing. Experience with continuous integration tools and version control systems. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and scripts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
