As a leader in technology solutions for the retail industry, we provide cutting-edge services to clients across a range of retail segments.We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant (QA) to join our growing delivery team in Portugal.What we are offering:The opportunity to join a growing company with people passionate about their work in an international environment;The opportunity to work with best-in-breed methodologies, tools and techniques;Training and Mentoring/Talent Development programs;Full package of Salary, perks and benefits (Health Insurance, mobile allowance and others);Career Evolution;Flexible working hours;Extra days off;Wellbeing program;Partnerships with local businesses;What you'll be doing:Plan and manage all tests phases (internal and commercial);Analyze specifications and identify impacts, design and execute test cases for software programs for commercial or end user applications;Read, understand, and write project functional documentation, interact with all project team members, including customers and third parties;Plan all test phases within project macro plan based on specifications, customer business needs and implementation strategies;Design and execute test cases based on specifications and customer business needs;Create daily/weekly test status, test phases final reports and any other project required documents;Interaction with solution team and daily communication to project manager;Manage and communicate all test phases status at any point of project (plan or execution);Identify possible improvements in test practices and QA methodology based on previous experiences.What we are looking for:+5 years of experience in a similar function, as a Quality Assurance Consultant;Experience working in IT projects as part of a Quality team, with responsibility to:Define Testing Strategies;Design Test Plans for various testing phases (ex: SIT, E2E, UAT, etc.);Draft test cases based on Functional Specs;Manage Test activities execution: plan daily activities, report progress, follow-up critical points, etc.;Execute test cases;Draft Test Reports and communicate to other stakeholders of the project;Experience in working on projects in a Retail context will be a plus;Experience in working in Oracle Retail suite projects will be a differentiator;Experience working independently in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;Quality Assurance certifications will be a plus;Proficiency in English;Proficiency in Spanish, French or German will be a plus;Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of work experience in IT Projects plus applicable schooling/certifications;If you think your profile matches our requirements and you are looking for an experience that offers opportunity, growth, balance, and a feeling of value, apply to this job by submitting your CV at: www.retail-consult.com/en/work-with-us/ or ******.
