We are looking for a QA Engineer with the following requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing.
Document and report test results, defects, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automated testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on automated testing.
Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks with preference for Cucumber but it's also valid to have experience on others (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and programming languages (e.g., Java, C#).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with test management tools (e.g., Xray).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Work Details:
Time zone: Lisbon;
Work schedule: Normal working hours 8, Mon to Fri;
# of days at the office: 1 day/week;
Location will be Porto (ideally), Braga, Coimbra e Lisbon, and the working model will be on-site/hybrid. Candidates must be living in Portugal.
