Your New Role
As a QA Analyst at our company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report bugs, develop test cases, and perform manual testing to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Objectives of this role
Manual testing desktop applications to ensure they meet quality standards for clients.
Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them.
Create test cases and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
Collaborate with other teams (consultancy and support) to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain testing infrastructure in the firm for efficient testing.
Write detailed test reports and performance analyses for the product, along with documentation for consultants/clients.
Participate in the complete software development life cycle for new products.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Required skills and qualifications
A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Experience in manual testing desktop apps based on .NET framework.
At least 1 year of proven experience as a manual tester.
Experience with bug-tracking systems such as Redmine, JIRA or others.
Familiarity with desktop development technologies such as Winforms and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with IDE tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio (no coding is required).
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Experience using version control tools such as TortoiseHg or Git.
Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, good communication and management skills.
English level B1 or better.
Hybrid workplace in Porto area (Portugal).
Preferred skills and qualifications
ISTQB – Foundation Level certification is preferred.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (pipeline developed in-house).
Experience in working with BDD approach (Gherkin syntax).
Basic SQL queries.
Basic knowledge of C# programming language and Ranorex Studio (for potential future automation test scripts).
Driving license.
