Negotiate pricing with suppliers, contractors and service providers, following the specifications indicated on the purchase, service or works orders, as contained in the hotel's policies and procedures. Validate all purchase orders that must reflect the contents of the orders. Observe existing guidelines regarding urgent purchases, minor purchases, purchasing fresh or perishable goods, etc. Supervise the work of subordinate personnel, ensuring that they comply with established objectives and procedures, as well as adhering to the hotel's policies on discipline, presentation, working hours, transit areas and safety. Periodically carry out market inspections to ensure satisfactory health and hygiene conditions of suppliers handling foodstuffs, particularly fresh or perishable items. Carry out all instructions and tasks assigned by the position's immediate superior, as well as any other responsibilities required by the role. Perform inventory based on the hotel's policies and procedures. What are we looking for? Minimum 2/3 years of experience in the role. High level of English. Technical training in procurement, purchasing management or similar. Knowledge of inventory management, hotel software, Windows. Budget management. HACCP.
