Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Within Bosch group, you will be part of an international project team focused on the development of fire alarm systems. Together with the engineering department, as a Technical Buyer, you will be supporting product development through awarding of new business towards suppliers. For that you will:
Ensure project timelines and needs, as well as the components release and material availability until start of production;
Award on components/products for new projects or transferred projects, following the BT/Purchasing supplier strategy;
Ensure sample approval and component or product release;
Issue initial tool order and contract of loan;
Manage with suppliers that quality requirement passes and are discussed (e.g. Technical Supplier Discussion input about tolerances, process capability, machine capability, process layout, test planning, measuring capability etc);
Hand over all technical and commercial information to Strategic Purchasing.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar;
Experience: previous experience in technical purchasing;
Know-How: knowledge of preventative quality methods, supply chain activities, logistics, project management, and negotiation methods and strategies;
Work Style: Methodic and analytical way of working. Ability to take responsibility for own work and initiative to drive solutions implementation. Ability to work in an international team environment and in a cross-functional team;
Personality: Proactive and solution-oriented attitude. Good communication and leadership skills;
Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Willingness to travel.
