Purchaser (Maternity Leave Replacement)

Our core activity is the development, manufacturing and installation of top-quality racking systems for the storage of palletized or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures. Location: Ovar, Portugal Job Description Main Responsibilities: Review requisition orders, stock orders and quotation requests, for productive and non-productive materials, to ensure accuracy and correct item specifications Request suppliers' quotations and check prices with Purchasing Manager Create POs based on Purchasing requisitions, and submit to supplier Respond to supplier inquiries about clarifying orders, changes in requests, delivery requirements and cancellations Follow up confirmation of order quantity, pricing, and delivery lead-times Resolve problems with suppliers to speed up deliveries and to minimize the risk of supply shortages Report status of POs on request Assure audit compliance and order accuracy Qualifications Previous experience in similar responsibilities (experience in an international environment is a plus) Solid communication skills to interact with several stakeholders (English language skills is a plus) Experience with Office365 and ERPs (InforLN is a plus) Dynamic and perspicacious personal skills Resident in Ovar or nearby area Additional Information What can we provide you?
