Job Description


Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will temporarily support the purchase of productive and non-productive materials during a maternity leave
Main Responsibilities:

Review requisition orders, stock orders and quotation requests, for productive and non-productive materials, to ensure accuracy and correct item specifications
Request suppliers' quotations and check prices with Purchasing Manager
Creates POs based on Purchasing requisitions, and submits to supplier
Respond to supplier inquiries about clarifying orders, changes in requests, delivery requirements and cancellations
Follows up confirmation of order quantity, pricing, and delivery lead-times
Resolve problems with suppliers to speed up deliveries and to minimize the risk of supply shortages
Reports status of POs on request
Support solving invoice issues (missed quantities, price differences, etc.)
Assure audit compliance and order accuracy




Qualifications

Previous experience in similar responsibilities (experience in an international environment is a plus)
Solid communication skills to interact with several stakeholders (English language skills is a plus)
Experience with Office365 and ERPs (InforLN is a plus)
Dynamic and perspicacious personal skills
Resident in Ovar or nearby area
