Our head office is based in Paris.OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLEWe are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Property Accountant to be part of the ongoing transformation of our asset management team. Based in Lisbon, this permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international fast-paced environment, where you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our real estate portfolio. Role description is described but not limited to the following:YOUR MISSIONSDevelop effective working relationships with the operational departments, asset and property managers, accounting teams and other key business stakeholders.Support asset management team with administrative tasks such as property registration.Manage tenant billing for charges and rents.Support the annual service charge reconciliations and ensure that agreed deadlines are met.Follow the unpaid rents and manage bad debt procedures and reporting.Develop into a Subject Matter Expert in Property Accounting processes and act as backup to other future property accountants.Use Yardi software for property accounting and financial reporting tasks.YOUR PROFILEDiploma and experienceBachelor's degree in accounting or finance.Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting preferably in accounts receivable.Experience reviewing bank statements, preparing reconciliations, and investigating variances.Experience with YARDI ERP is a great asset.Experience working with commercial properties is a strong asset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.CompetenciesProactivity, curiosity and autonomy.Comprehensive understanding of real estate accounting principles and regulations.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.Fluent in English; French knowledge is a plus.JOINING USAn innovative, entrepreneurial project in a profitable company with the resources to match its ambitions.A dynamic, friendly and supportive international working environment.Central location with great access
