Role The Project Manager will be responsible for running complex and cross-country projects impacting several Business Units.
He/she is responsible for leading projects from Initiation to completion, using the most appropriate methodology (traditional waterfall or Agile).
The role involves defining project goals, developing detailed workplans and coordinating team activities to deliver projects within scope, timeline and budget and in alignment with company objectives.
Responsibilities Oversee and manage numerous projects for several functions within the Technology department (IT, Information Security, Software Engineering).
Set up project teams and make sure the appropriate functions are represented in the project(s).
Ensure adherence to quality standards, and best practices in Project Management and the use of the appropriate PM tools (Jira, Confluence).
Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the project teams.
Clarify and communicate roles and responsibilities within the teams.
Make sure the project(s) are well-scoped, and final deliverables are clear to the project team(s), in alignment with the project objectives defined by the project Sponsor.
Identify the most suitable Project Management methodology for execution of each project (Traditional or Agile).
Lead the project planning exercise with the project team, and always keep the planning up to date.
Coordinate execution activities, and identify and manage dependencies, risks and conflicts, to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Monitor project progress and performance (Scope /timeline and budget), and identify areas of improvement and mitigation.
Communicate project status, issues and risks to stakeholders and Senior Management along with recommendations.
Your Profile Proven experience in leading large Information Technology projects in complex multi-country environment including managing scope, timeline and budget.
Proficiency in Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence).
Customer oriented with respect to internal/external clients, suppliers and 3rd parties.
Technical expertise : A strong understanding of modern IT trends & technologies to be able to understand projects requirement, and be an active part in problem-solving when necessary.
Strong team leadership: to rally together diverse, multi-country teams and create a trust environment for collaboration towards a common goal.
Cultural sensitivity : Ability to understand, respect and adapt to cultural differences and create a trust environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
Strong Communication Skills to effectively engage with team members, stakeholders and Senior Management.
Problem solving skills : proactively identify and address issues and conflicts, favoring finding solutions through collaboration and positive communication rather than systematic escalation.
Organization skills ; ability to organize and prioritize tasks, resources and time to ensure successful delivery of action plans.
Excellent presentation skills.
Skilled in breaking down complex project situations to highlight key elements for non-experts, or Senior Management, facilitating well-informed decision making.
Fluency in English.
Self-motivated and able to self-organize and work efficiently in remote mode.
