Description: Highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a background in GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications - Railway) and embedded systems. Proven ability to lead and manage teams in resolving tickets with varying urgency levels, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction. Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing resources, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Your Profile;
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred);
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (a plus);
-Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications or embedded systems industry.
- GSM-R systems and protocols
- Embedded systems development lifecycle
- Ticketing systems and workflow management
- Technical project managementmethodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Familiarity with relevant development tools (e.g., version control systems, testing tools)
- Experience leading teams in resolving technical tickets with varying urgency levels.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Tools;
- Know-how in Nokia GSM-R Tools (nice to have)
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred);
- Prioritization techniques (e.g., Eisenhower Matrix);
- Dependency identification and management;
- Escalation procedures for critical issues;
- Clear communication of deadlines and expectations;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure;
- English knowledge is mandatory;
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS): Understanding of emerging technologies that may succeed GSM-R.
- Know-how in Nokia GSM-R Processes, Implementation and Architecture;
- Portuguese is a nice to have;
