We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who is fluent in German to lead our diverse projects, ensuring their timely and successful completion.
This role demands exceptional organisational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders to drive our company objectives.
Key Responsibilities for Project Management Project Leadership: Develop and lead project plans for medium to large-scale projects, overseeing multiple large to extra-large projects with guidance from the project lead.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of product quality, functionality, and timely delivery.
Project Recommendations: Provide and implement recommendations that contribute to the successful completion of projects within a specific product or functional area.
Autonomy with Supervision: Work with some supervision and have flexibility in meeting objectives related to assigned tasks, projects, or initiatives.
Customer Communication: Maintain regular and proactive communication with customers to promptly address concerns.
Organizational Participation: Take part in organizational initiatives as needed.
Reporting: Manage customer reporting and project reporting, including executive-level customer interface and communication.
Mentorship: Coach and mentor less experienced project managers.
Financial Management: Handle project financial management tasks.
Governance: Ensure all relevant governance meetings are held within the contract framework.
Initiative Participation: Engage in departmental initiatives.
Pre-sales Support: Provide consultation during the pre-sales phase.
Qualifications Required for a Project Manager Languages: Proficiency in German and English (C1 level).
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
Experience: Minimum 7 years overall experience.
At least 2 years as a project manager in the US or European telecom sector.
4 years of experience as a project manager in other domains.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL V4 Foundations, Prince2, CSM, PMP, Master's in Project Management, or equivalent.
Skills: Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of direct customer engagement.
Time Management: Excellent ability to manage time and set priorities effectively.
Project and Data Management: Skilled in data validation, project reporting, and mentoring/coaching of less experienced peers.
Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Suite, SharePoint, Adobe, and Webex.
Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management systems and time management software, along with internal client systems.
