About your future Team The Transformational Projects team aims to promote and manage the execution and delivery of IT projects with excellence, ensuring an end-to-end vision of the processes and solutions being implemented.
How will your day-to-day look like: Manage the implementation of IT projects across different businesses and corporate areas;Coordinate and manage projects' scope, activities, deliverables and deadlines, guaranteeing projects' timings, scope and budget, as well as alignment with business requirements and objectives;Manage the activities of execution and delivery teams from the different IT Centres of Expertise integrated in the projects;Understand and gain knowledge on the solutions under implementation, particularly regarding the requirements and solutions design and transfer this knowledge to the remaining areas of the IT Department;Anticipate, identify and remove blockers that may impact project and improvement delivery;Manage projects' communication plan, calendar, risks and issues;Communicate the projects' status and progress to the Steering Committee and relevant stakeholders;Lead and coordinate change management processes of the areas and users impacted by new IT solutions implemented;Promote processes' continuous improvement through standardization, automation and simplifying the IT solutions that support them, with a main focus on Natural Gas & Electricity processes and Retail processes.What makes you unique: Minimum of 8 years' experience in implementing and managing technology projects in complex business environments;Proven experience in project management and continuous improvement;Experience in managing external service providers and project's financial control;Strong problem-solving orientation and proactive search for improvements that bring benefits to Galp's applications, suggesting and leading innovative initiatives;Focus on the customer and service delivery;Oral and written fluency in English.Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) At Galp, we have the ambition to be a Human Centered Company, and for that we acknowledge our responsibility to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) by having a genuine mindset, lived on our day-to-day, in all our processes.
