The Demand & Transformation Manager will on the one hand, support strategic IT transformation projects serving in a centralized Project Management Office that is responsible for standardizing and streamlining project management processes, practices, and governance. On the other hand, managing and owning the operative global demand funnel to give guidance to stakeholder, ensure quality and measure process performance for continuous improvement.What will you be doing:Orchestrating the IT demand funnel managing global demands from definition on business side to development to testing within IT to enable transparency on effort need and capacity as well as fact-based prioritization.Establishing project governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure that projects align with organizational goals and objectives.Developing and implementing project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach, to guide big Vision Care IT transformation projects execution and delivery.Defining standardized project management templates, tools, and techniques to promote consistency and efficiency across projects.Providing training, mentoring, and support to project managers and project teams to enhance their project management skills and competencies.Managing project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure optimal allocation and utilization across projects.Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize the likelihood of project failure or delays.Establishing quality standards and processes to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and organizational requirements.Generating project status reports, dashboards, and other communication materials to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, issues, and milestones.Monitoring and evaluating project performance against established metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.Managing the organization's project portfolio to prioritize and align projects with strategic objectives, optimize resource allocation, and maximize return on investment.Continuously assessing and improving project management practices, processes, and methodologies based on lessons learned and industry best practices.Engaging with key stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and project teams, to gain buy-in, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Support program/project management and work stream leads in daily operations for the big ZEISS Vision Care IT transformation projects.As a PMO Demand & Transformation Manager you will ideally have:2 years or more in a similar type of position experienceGraduated in Business Administration, Business Informatics / Business IT, Computer Science or equivalentStrong organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, agile project management tools and other relevant software.High willingness to learn and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Open to business travelWhen joining ZEISS, you will be welcomed to this global business with a thorough induction, a competitive salary, and great benefits.Apply now to take the next step in joining team ZEISS, where you can push technological boundaries, shape markets, and contribute to the advancement of society._______________________________________________________________________________Diversity is a part of ZEISS.
