THE ROLE As a Project Management Assistant, you will support the Head of IT in overseeing the lifecycle of IT projects.
Your role will involve assisting with project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently while meeting time and budget constraints.
Specifically, we expect you to: Support IT Projects: Assist in the management of IT projects across various business areas by helping coordinate internal resources, ensuring adherence to project requirements, and helping meet deadlines and schedules.
Assist in Defining Project Scope: Support the definition and clarification of project scope and objectives, aligning them with business goals under the guidance of the IT Project Manager.
Stakeholder Communication: Help prepare project status reports and assist in presenting these reports to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of key details and progress.
Relationship Management: Support the effective management of relationships with all internal stakeholders.
Meeting Coordination: Assist in leading and coordinating project meetings, ensuring effective communication across the project team.
Documentation: Help maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Support: Aid in engaging and motivating the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
REQUIREMENTS Mandatory requirements: Experience in an IT or project management support role.
Strong people management skills and a people-oriented approach.
Advanced knowledge in Project Management principles and tools.
Problem-solving mentality, with a focus on finding solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Customer and service-oriented mindset.
High level of autonomy and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment.
Fluency in English.
Brownie Points: Certifications in Project Management.
Experience in the e-commerce sector.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and other project management approaches.
Familiarity or experience with the Shape Up methodology.
