Job Purpose
Responsible for all financial and tax matters of small projects
Reports to: Segment or BU Financial Controller or Regional CFO depending on team size Internally: Project Manager, Cost Controllers/Cost Engineer, Finance team Externally: Clients, external auditors
Job Description
During tendering phase, defines administrative, accounting and tax structure of the project and supervises the contractual terms of the project (deliveries, duties, penalties, financial terms, etc.)
Project financial follow up during the contract execution
Validates project cash forecasts and cost accounting reconciliation working closely with Cost Control
Produces project forecasts (revenue/gross margin calendarization and recognition) working closely with Cost Control and provides main justifications if needed
Participates in Project Management Review
Prepares off-balance sheet commitment (bank guarantee, parent company guarantee)
Communicates with external auditors for all project related financial aspects
Monitors project invoicing
Controls project CAPEX along with cost controllers/cost engineers
Participates in impairment tests
You are meant for this job if:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
2 to 4 years of experience in Finance or Financial Controlling and with ERP system
Fluent in English
Knowledge of IFRS especially (IAS 11, IAS 18, IAS 21, IAS 32, IAS 39)
Knowledge of accounting concepts
