Job Title: Project Engineering Manager - Floating Offshore Wind FEED Design Company: EWI Recruitment (on behalf of a leading floating wind technology innovator) Location: Northern Portugal Salary: Competitive, based on experience About The Role EWI Recruitment is partnering with a leading floating wind technology innovator to find a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager specializing in Floating Offshore Wind Front-End Engineering Design (FEED). This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage engineering efforts on pioneering projects that are at the forefront of renewable energy innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead the engineering team in the development of FEED for floating offshore wind projects. Oversee all engineering activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and installation, to integrate FEED designs into project execution plans. Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams to ensure optimal design solutions. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of FEED packages. Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and design optimization studies. Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and approval. Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Offshore Engineering. Extensive experience in project engineering management, with a focus on FEED for floating offshore wind projects. Strong understanding of floating wind foundation technologies and their applications. Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects from concept to execution. Proficiency in using project management and engineering design software. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
