Tasman Rope Access Pty Ltd (TRA) is an Australian owned and operated company that specializes in providing rope access services in mining and construction in the WA mining sector. TRA is entering a period of growth with a large pipeline of project work throughout 2024 and 2025 in the Pilbara and Coastal Region. We are currently seeking Project Coordinators to join our current site leadership teams supporting our growth into the future.
What we need from you:
3-5 years proven experience working within the mining and construction industry is essential.
Experience working on large scale projects and Sus Cap.
Rio Tinto, BHP or FMG inductions will be preferred but not essential.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening.
The following qualifications are required:
Current IRATA Certification (Desirable but not essential)
Nationally accredited qualification Working at Heights (Within 3yrs)
Nationally accredited qualification Confined Space (Within 3yrs)
First Aid and CPR
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
Construction Induction Card
MSIC Card
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and management, ensuring everyone is informed about project status and updates.
Maintain organized project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and schedules, to ensure easy access and reference.
Coordinate meetings, set deadlines, and track progress against project timelines to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that spending aligns with project goals.
Identify potential risks or issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
Provide administrative support to project team members, helping with resource allocation, task assignments, and problem-solving.
Help ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications.
Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders, summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps.
Contribute to post-project evaluations, identifying lessons learned and suggesting improvements for future projects.
