Mission of the Role:
Our program manager for Ford Europe display programs will lead the cross-functional team from business win to launch and reports directly to the Chief Program Engineer (Senior Program Manager).
Successful launch of European display programs (cluster and centre stack displays)
This includes the following Key Performance Indicators:
Lead the cross-functional team
Track project status closely and resolve or mitigate risks
Work with the cross-functional team to ensure the business financials are exceeding baseline
Conduct the program gate reviews on time
Report out to the next level manager weekly
Key Objectives of this Role:
Creating and executing project work plans (Configuration Management Plan) and revisions as appropriate to meet project phase deadlines and changing requirements
Managing resources in conjunction with horizontal managers, manufacturing, and others
Helping resolve (through experience) day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope
Effectively managing project risk through mitigation planning using appropriate tools
Supporting Project team in their monitoring and reports of timing, income, expense, and resource management
Ensuring less experienced team members are utilizing Project Management and all internal methodology
Preparing for Senior Project Leader and Project Board project reviews and quality assurance procedures
Ensuring all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Monitoring project status (including supplier status) and reviewing Current Model activities with appropriate stakeholders
Additional Functions: consistently acknowledging and appreciating each team member's contributions
Effectively utilizing each team member to his/her fullest potential
Motivating the entire Project team to work together in the most efficient manner
Keeping track of lessons learned and sharing those lessons with team members and other project teams
Mitigating team conflict and communication problems
Encouraging "straight talk" among team members
The individual should be recognized as a Pride Builder and challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor

Teaching (based on experience) the team and functional leaders to ensure that relevant communication with the customer is done in a timely and appropriate manner
Required Experience/Skills:
Degree in Engineering or related area
Minimum 5 years of experience
Fluent in English; German will be valuable
Knowledge of automotive electronic products (preferable condition)
Strongly driven for results, awareness of market and technology advancements, commercially aware
