We are looking for a talented Program Manager to join an exciting Automotive Industry project. Is that you?
If yes, join us at Mobiweb, a Software House & Team Augmentation company from Porto established in 2017. Our specialities are Web and Mobile App Development on native and cross-platform technologies. We solve problems in three different ways:
We source specialised IT professionals to companies of all sizes and geographies, from start-ups to powerhouses of the Telco and Media sectors, such as Sky (UK); We develop MVPs and complete Projects for start-ups like Moomenti (Switzerland / USA); We develop our own software Products to answer Market needs. Are you still reading? That's interesting! Since you're still here, we might as well tell you what you'll need to be considered for this position: Technical degree in computer science or engineering. Over 5 years of senior project management experience, preferably with car OEMs. Proven experience in product and process engineering. Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is a plus. Experience in budget control and profit enhancement. Experience managing programs in the automotive field, particularly with electronics products. Proficiency in software management tools (Jira, Confluence, Scrum, Teams). Ability to build strong customer relationships at a senior level. Strong technical skills and understanding of software development. Business and commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills. Project management training is advantageous. Got all of that covered? Great stuff! Now look into your key responsibilities: Integrate with a dynamic team of project managers and tech leaders. Lead the program team as a functional manager. Achieve financial targets, including operating income, cash flow, internal rate of return, and upfronts. Ensure customer satisfaction regarding timing, quality, costs, product performance, and risk management. Serve as the primary interface with the OEM, handling planning, risk and requirements management, onsite workshops, and drive tests. Plan and execute all activities related to android software development, cloud development, validation, third-party apps testing, and partner certification, ensuring program success. Manage deliverables and resources to meet project deadlines. Regularly report project status to the team and key stakeholders. And Primary Objectives: Secure appropriate staffing with the necessary skill levels in a timely manner. Develop and monitor the master schedule. Achieve program targets by creating and implementing program roadmaps, and assigning objectives to team members. Utilize the business plan to ensure financial expectations are met. Manage the project team, ensuring cooperation with various support functions, suppliers, and entities. Implement the Program Management System, achieving work packages, mandatory deliverables, and key milestones on time. Identify and manage risks and opportunities, maintaining a risk management and alert process. Resolve top issues internally or externally within the program. Act as the official Program representative, supporting customer expectations while protecting the company from risk exposure. Communicate and report relevant program statuses to secure appropriate management support. Ensure program experience is documented and utilized to improve future program performance.
