The Production Manager's responsibilities include maintaining positive vendor relations, preparing retail and pricing strategies, placing and tracking purchase orders, managing inventory and keeping track of market trends.PROFILE- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 YEAR- Great organisation skills is mandatory- English speaker is mandatory (other languages will be valued, especially Spanish).- Proven experience in import/export.- Experience in furniture production will be valued-Experience in quality control will be valued- Communication skills- Problem-solving skillsJOB DESCRIPTION:- Ordering product based on rate of sale and min/max quantities to maintain optimum levels.- Follow up non-delivered supplier purchase orders and back orders.- Keep publication dates for forthcoming products up to date.- Manage price change/information changes.- Maintenance of individual product lists.- Setting up and maintaining stock and supplier records.- Supplier returns.- Manage supplier invoice/supply disputes.- Manage generic buying email inbox.- General administration.- Total familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary.- The ability to manage time and workload independently and to cope with multiple priorities and the varying demands of a seasonal business is essential.Benefits- Work in a Fast-growing business environmentTipo de oferta: Período IntegralHorário de trabalho:Turno de 8 horasIdioma:Inglês (Obrigatório)#J-18808-Ljbffr
