Key Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between Customer and BW and coordinate follow-up activities to ensure high service level.
Evaluate Customer purchase orders/schedules to create suitable production schedules.
Estimate the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
Coordinate and expedite right flow between shop floor sub-stations.
Work with other Planners to ensure optimum flow of the material supply according to the area of responsibility.
Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize delays.
Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs and improve production processes and product quality.
Effect changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
Adjust production plans according to current customer updates and production status.
Compile status and performance reports and submit them to management in a timely manner.
Inform relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
Comply with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene, and environmental prevention standards.
Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules.
Perform other tasks as necessary for service needs.
Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree in related discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 2-5 years experience in logistics related field.
Recognized functional knowledge with the ability to train others.
High understanding of SAP and MES capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Effective communication skills.
Negotiation experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in Portuguese & English.
