As Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our Financial Consolidation and Intercompany Management SaaS applications designed for the office of the CFO. You will be responsible for collaborating with product management to define and write epics and features, write stories, work with development scrum teams to prioritize sprints and agile ceremonies, work with product operations and other cross functional teams to bring your products and releases to market. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager for your area, you will have a direct impact on the success of your products.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with and take direction from Product Management to support planning and successful product execution.
Collaborate with Product Management, UX, customers and other stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand needs, translate those needs into well-defined requirements and acceptance criteria when writing Features and Stories.
Partner with development and UX leaders to monitor, evaluate, prioritize, design, guide and deliver impactful products for your scrum team(s), including negotiation and optimization of multiple trade-offs.
Manage the backlog and prioritization of items based on business value, customer impact, and resource constraints.
Participate in agile ceremonies to help and maintain momentum of your scrum team(s).
Leverage design thinking techniques and strategies to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, map solutions to business and technical problems, and bring the products to market.
Become a subject matter expert for your application area(s), providing guidance and support to internal teams and external customers as needed.
Maintain a strong sense of accountability and ownership of the product.
Manage timelines and deliverables.
Be an excellent communicator who can explain complex technical ideas and effectively engage with peers, team members, and external customers.
What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or finance
At least three (3) years of product owner experience in business application software, ideally focused on the office of the CFO and/or technology related to your product area, where you have been writing effective stories for development teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and concepts to non-technical audiences, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Understanding of Financial Performance Management concepts, including consolidation, reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing demands effectively
Methodical approach to delivery with attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work independently and assimilate new ideas quickly.
Agile development experience, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies, and experience with related tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, etc.
Experience with various product management and design thinking techniques and processes.
A passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset
Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
Have a solid financial background or strong understanding of financial processes
Have experience with, or understand cloud and SaaS solutions or services.
Have experience leveraging AI technologies
Have experience working with remote teams.
Have worked with financial consolidation or financial planning and budgeting applications such as Prophix.
Have experience with Agile Development / Iterative process-oriented development / feature-driven development.
Have experience with Azure DevOps
