Responsibilities/Tasks The Product Marketing Manager EMEA is responsible for managing his/her product categories, developing optimal positioning and messaging of his/her products for the EMEA market. This includes performing market and pricing analysis and providing sales with all the necessary sales tools. It also involves supporting and creating content for marketing activities such as events, tradeshows, and workshops.
General Responsibilities
Subject matter expert for specific product categories
Conduct competitive product and pricing analysis for assigned product categories and document them.
Propose product pricing to Director of Product Marketing based on local market conditions and local competitors
Analyze sales trends for products in the assigned categories
Develop and deploy activities to promote and stimulate sales of products in the assigned categories
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by reading travel reports and getting feedback from the sales team and during dealer visits.
Support the sales team in the launch process of new products by giving training and preparing effective tools for presentations and training on new products and technologies.
Develop new working stations and demonstration concepts for trainings and/or tradeshows
Provide content for new trainings and/or schools
Support the Marcoms Team for the development of Case Studies for the assigned Products.
Requirements 3 years of experience in the A/V industry
Technical education in Electronics and/or Electrical engineering or a Marketing management degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory).
Good presentation and teaching skills.
The ability to operate self-directed and proactive on given tasks.
Analytical skills and structured work approach.
