About the Role
iCapital's business is growing rapidly, and successful candidates will join our efforts to help iCapital clients globally access alternative investments. iCapital is looking for a talented Associate – International Product Manager | Integrated Offerings to join the International Product team in Lisbon. The position will report to the Head of International Product. The role encompasses supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing market dynamics, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions for our international positioning and our international clients. The ideal candidate has a penchant for knowledge and a hunger for growth and learning and will embrace a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and investor preferences in international markets.
Assist in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for iCapital's international offerings.
Work with senior team members to scope, prepare, and support the end-to-end product feature development, detailing all the functional documentation and design to ensure a successful technical implementation from conception to launch: Assist in gathering functional and technical requirements, including data relations, data, and permissions workflows, to create detailed specifications for new development needs.
Prepare functional and technical documentation and manage development timelines in coordination with the engineering team to maintain a delivery roadmap.
Contribute to defining user stories for new features and designing workflows, including data and permissions relations, to support requirement development.
Define testing use cases and acceptance criteria and assist in the testing phase of new features.
Support the roll-out of new features, coordinating with the delivery team to manage potential deployment risks.
Embrace agility by deploying quickly and iterating based on feedback.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to execute product development initiatives.
Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor product performance metrics and iterate based on user feedback across the different phases of the product development cycle: design, feature staging, testing, staging, user acceptance, and production.
Focus on the product roadmap for specific features or segments, ensuring timely deliverables.
Maintain transparent communication across teams (implementation specialist, design, engineering).
Investigate and address production issues impacting users.
Monitor post-launch performance and seek opportunities for enhancement.
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
BSc in computer or engineering-related fields.
2+ years of work experience in product development, project technology implementation.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects and different client stakeholders with attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Passion for understanding diverse customer needs across different geographies.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
Prior exposure to international markets or financial services is a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
