The Payments Product Manager will develop and support Planet's online gateway services. This includes the development execution of the ecommerce payments strategy across various channels, especially in the Hospitality & Retail verticals.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating and executing payment gateway initiatives (such as New Product development, Scheme Mandates, and Alternate Payment Method (APM) Implementations);Managing the Product Roadmap and working with the Engineering leads to manage the product backlog;Being commercially astute in the management of third-party suppliers such as partners, regulatory authorities, networks, and vendors.What you will do:Product Roadmap Development: Develop, manage, and prioritize the product backlog across our online payment gateway.Product Delivery: Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to launch and market vertical-specific solutions on time and within budget.Growth Support: Contribute to developing solutions for expansion into new countries, segments, schemes, and alternative payment methods (APMs).Product Maintenance: Collaborate with third-party providers to plan and implement any maintenance requirements for our online payment gateway.Performance Analysis: Support performance management & product analysis via data streams to highlight market penetration and future opportunities.Team Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional matrix team (e.g., marketing, growth, operations, etc.).Strategy Support: Assist in defining the ecommerce strategy for Planet and its gateway solutions.Who you are:At least 3+ years of Product Management experience.Online Payments experience is a must.Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).Experience working with engineering and commercial teams.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced, complex, and at times stressful environment.Highly motivated and enjoy a challenge.Why Planet:Planet is an equal opportunity employer where diversity is valued, and all employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.Come and grow your career in the most exciting, fast-paced technology market, with a business that delivers feel-good connected commerce.
