The Role Be part of Waterworks' expansion into new products and new markets! The Product Compliance Coordinator will work closely with the Product Compliance Manager for US + International markets and will focus on international product compliance. In this role, you will coordinate compliance processes and procedures to ensure our products adhere to governmental and industry regulations around the world. Your responsibilities will include tracking product compliance data in our systems, coordinating product testing, and compiling compliance data for monthly review meetings. This position also offers an opportunity to gain foundational knowledge in Product Development and Engineering within a dynamic company that distributes luxury goods to expanding global markets.
Eligible applicants must reside in Portugal. Waterworks will not provide relocation or sponsorship for this role.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the compliance department to perform certification and listing of Waterworks plumbing fittings, fixtures, and other related products through third party certification agencies with a focus on international product compliance.Coordinates all Assent factory compliance campaigns; captures and organizes results.Obtain quotations, coordinate testing procedures through a Waterworks selected testing laboratory, and define test samples.Provides data for monthly compliance meeting.Contributor to Waterworks Product Standards for performance and safety.Maintain compliance database by reviewing, updating and ensuring accuracy of all required regulatory documentation and attributes.Develops and continues an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all applicable regulatory agency and performance standards through tracking and understanding emerging compliance engineering practices and standards.Some focus on product compliance outside of plumbing, specifically other lines of business Waterworks offers; research and identify pertinent and current code requirements applicable to sales regions, such as, Federal Regulations, Lacey Act, Tosca, REACH, and RoHS.Other special projects or duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; or equivalent experience3 plus years of experience in related field (production planning, manufacturing, plumbing)Knowledge of international plumbing standards and/or product compliance proceduresProficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and Smartsheets; other Waterworks specific systemsExcellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to read and interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawingsKnowledge of international plumbing standards and/or product compliance and building product/codes preferredSome technical knowledge in assigned product line preferredRequired travel up to 10% of the timeThis role is located in Portugal Our Values Be Authentic: Engage in real conversations.
