This role, working within our Tech Hub is a Product Business Analyst.The Product Business Analyst is a key strategic role and will be responsible for bridging the gap between strategy/product vision and execution. The role acts as the glue that binds various aspects of BCA's strategy, product design, technology, and solutions ecosystem. The Product Business Analyst will collaborate with the wider IT department and other areas of BCA to support the delivery of market leading digital products and services.The Product Business Analyst is matrix managed and will be involved at the earliest stages of the product development cycle across a range of products. They will work with Product Owners deep-diving on problems and providing options on ways to progress the product evolution. This role works closely with the Product leadership and other senior leaders of the business to ensure that new products and features are well defined and that solutions are delivering valuable outcomes for BCA and its customers. The Product Business Analyst should be comfortable talking to senior executives about business matters, the marketplace and competition, as well as; to the development team about requirements and problems to solve. Key Responsibilities:Works with Head of Product and Product Owner to provide Strategic and Technical Product direction for all BCA productsEducates business leaders and the wider business on how our products can be utilised to expand and leverage the multi-service automotive value chainDrive the best customer experience and journey through our digital platforms, to ensure a seamless and frictionless experienceUse analysis techniques to build and maintain shared understanding between the team and stakeholdersProactively work with colleagues from across the business in identifying integration impacts, dependencies and efficiencies across multiple areas of the businessEnsure user/business needs are met by the products and features developedSupporting the product development and innovation process with analysis of the requirements, scope and business case for new products and strategic initiativesProvide senior management with the information needed to decide on viability and/or priorityWork with the Product Teams on the delivery of the product backlog by providing input into the definition and prioritization of requirements so that teams have clarity on what needs to be producedCollaborate with Product Owners to understand customer needs and support the discovery and solutions design processSupports the Product Owners by helping them analyse the business domain, stocking the product backlog, and grooming the product backlogGain deep knowledge of BCA's systems and processes and act as SME within the product team.Work closely with Product Team and Stakeholders to support the product quarterly planning.Ability to support teams with writing user stories and acceptance criteriaGood understanding of Kanban methodologiesOperating within a matrix managed structure and a wide range of stakeholders, the role requires a high degree of influencing capabilityAbility to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally.
