As a Procurement Specialist, you will be accountable for one or more local or regional procurement categories and its suppliers, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders and ensuring a close communication with both requestors and suppliers.
In your new role you will: Be responsible for a medium to large procurement volume for products and services Develop a local and global procurement strategy including market analysis to identify alternative local and global procurement sources Be responsible for the commodity groups in charge as well as for the KPIs target setting and monitoring (e.g.
cost reduction) including regular reporting of the negotiation results Design framework agreements (e.g.
through master agreements) for the corresponding commodity groups Conduct the annual supplier evaluations Be a sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcome Please note that this is a maternity cover position with a fixed-term contract of 2 years.

You are best equipped for this task if you have: A Bachelors' degree in Business Administration , Economics , Engineering or similar field of studies 1-3 years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar role in Procurement – ideally in an International Environment Good understanding of principles and concepts of Procurement and good negotiation skills Fluency in English (mandatory) - German is a plus Please send us your CV in English.
