Apply now and be a key player in our success story in Porto as a Procurement Specialist.As a Procurement Specialist, you will be accountable for one or more local or regional procurement categories and its suppliers, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders and ensuring a close communication with both requestors and suppliers.
In your new role you will:
Be responsible for amedium to large procurement volumefor products and services
Developa local and globalprocurement strategyincludingmarket analysisto identify alternative local and global procurement sources
Be responsible for the commodity groupsin charge as well as for theKPIs target setting and monitoring( cost reduction) including regular reporting of the negotiation results
Design framework agreements( through master agreements) for the corresponding commodity groups
Conduct the annualsupplier evaluations
Be a sparring partnerfor internal and external stakeholdersto achieve the best outcome
Please note that this is a maternity cover position with a fixed-term contract of 2 years.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
ABachelors' degree in Business Administration,Economics,Engineeringor similar field of studies
1-3 years of experience as a Buyeror in a similar role in Procurement – ideally in an International Environment
Good understanding ofprinciples and concepts of Procurementandgood negotiation skills
Fluency in English(mandatory) - German is a plus
