About your future Team
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp - Procurement IT Area, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors.
How will your day-to-day look like:
Develop Procurement and contracting processes, ensuring organizational efficiency by simplifying them and ensuring the following consistency standards and procedures applicable to the role of Buyer;
Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies;
Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies;
Preparing and issuing tender processes;
Develop daily activity based on the plans, aligned with the strategic objectives of the group and Organizational Units (OU);
Management of the tender process;
Contracts negotiation to achieve the best value;
Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts;
Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business;
Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements.
What makes you unique:
Academic Background in Engineering, Economics or Business Management;
Excellent Networking and Negotiations Skills;
Previous professional experience in the area of procurement, negotiation and IT;
Good computer skills from the user's perspective;
Proficiency in English;
Result orientated and problem-solving skills;
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
Strong analytical capabilities and goal-oriented.
